Well I can’t say I’ve ever heard auto-tune compared to nuclear weapons before, but there you go. The analogy is a stretch, I think, but if it helps people understand international politics then I don’t see the harm.

  2. Eric Says:

Jay-Z has responded. He claims that the original freestyle that Game took as a diss wasn’t intended as such in the first place.

(Or was it? Could the freestyle be Jay-Z’s Bay of Pigs?)

  3. kth Says:

Lynch and Ackerman will really have arrived (as rap commentators) only when The Source does an item on them.

  4. The Blow Leprechaun Says:

Jay-Z’s response sounds like the sort of thing we often do – something that sounds great to those who already follow us, but doesn’t even make an ounce of sense to anybody who doesn’t.

  5. cmholm Says:

In other news, Cincinnati DJ Gordon Sims teaches atomic theory using street gang metaphors.

  6. Campesino Says:

What #5 said. I heard it driving into work this AM and it was LAME
