Gee, isn’t that lovely. They can turn into a shrine with pictures of all the people killed in this debate (only on one side however), with red exes on their faces like they used to do on websites. Good for fund raising, no?

Now we know what it looks like when terrorists win.

Just more proof of the beneficent nimbus that ObaFuhrer has spread across the MidEast! Wonder if Eugene will notice?

I assume you take the loss of an abortion facility as depressing as opposed to this particular building, yes?
Though of course context is all.
Shall we also chalk this up to ObaFuhrer’s magical mystical
    influence?
And isn’t this exactly what happens when, like the ObaFuhrer, we choose to leave individual rights up to the states’ indulgences?

Well, the murder of the doctor was clearly a terrible, terrible act, but what is the problem with selling the clinic? I realize there are obvious symbolic reasons, but, frankly, it would probably be hard to any sort of reasonable offer for it given what happened. If some irrational group wants to pay above it’s fair market value then I don’t see why not. The family has suffered a horrific loss, I’m not sure why they should (possibly) also have to suffer economicly.

  5. theo Says:

Hopefully the family will take them for as much money as possible, on top of the inevitable wrongful death lawsuit.

The Christianists can exorcise it and make it into a shrine if they want, who cares.

  6. kth Says:

Oh it’s pretty easy to guess what their plans are: some kind of Abortion Holocaust Museum, that they will fatuously compare with Auschwitz or whatever.

It’s all good, though; that kind of rhetoric causes fence-sitters to see how crazy they are.

And if the clinic just happens to get burned to the ground the moment it changes hands, they can build a Church of the Holy Zygote on the site with the insurance money.

Ain’t that the damn truth? It’s pretty amazing how this has just all fallen in the anti-choices’ laps when a week ago it seemed that they would take a big hit over the outrage about it.
