I happen to be in Tallahassee, FL this Christmas, and the downtown park area (Kleman Plaza?) is decorated very nicely. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all.
I hope Matt enjoys his Chinese food since the Cavs are going to absolutely romp the Wizards tonight. Oh man. The most overrated rivalry in the NBA has become the most lop-sided – and it was pretty lopsided to begin with anyway.
This is, of course, awesome for Cleveland fans like myself.
Merry Christmas, Matthew and enjoy the Chinese food! (Which brings up the question: does the Chinese food here suck as much as the Mexican food? Because I had the worst Chinese food I ever had here (cooked by actual Chinese people), and I’m hoping it was a one-off.)(Maybe the badness of the food induces badness in governing, so we need a stimulus project to replace all the restaurants in DC with good ones.)
I don’t know, the DC decorations aren’t that bad. Specifically, they did the exact the same thing to some trees at L’Enfant Plaza as to the trees in that picture. I never checked out the famous parts of the city, though, so maybe that was as good as it gets.

Yes, here’s to 2009! May we not be burning our furniture to keep warm and eating our pets for food at this time next year! Skoal!
