    Cheney, abetted by Yglesias, lead this country into a quagmire whose enduring cost will hamstring progressive policies for 15 years. It is Reagan cubed and the Village is once again chortling about the debt after years of cheerleading wars, tax cuts and corporate giveaways in the name of “Homeland Security.”

    My guess is Cheney knows McCain will lose, so this was really his endorsement for Palin in 2012.

    I so, so hope I’m right. It’s just crazy enough to be true. Palin/Cheney 2012!!!
