Do you actually read anything online? If so, what?
A lot. I’m always checking in with HuffPo, Drudge, RealClearPolitics, Talking Points Memo, Politico, Andrew Sullivan, Hendrik Hertzberg, The Smoking Gun, TMZ, Hungry Girl, The Guardian, Paid Content, Arts and Letters Daily, Matt Yglesias, First Post, BBC, Romenesko, Head Butler … Aargh … Stop me before I read more …
And I do it all on a much smaller budget than the BBC….

Bummer dude. I imagine I’ll continue to read you anyway.

Tina Brown is filled with a love that dare not speak it’s name. A love of comic books and the NBA.
October 6th, 2008 at 4:32 pm
Yeah. Tina Brown was the worst editor the New Yorker ever had. What a twit. We don’t care about Princess Di, take that shit to People.
Remnick is approximately 1.5 million times better.

Dude, *everybody* does it on a smaller budget than the BBC…

Your international soccer coverage sucks compared to the BBC. Quit slacking.

Finally you get to be in the same sentence as Drudge!
October 6th, 2008 at 5:06 pm
Everybody lies about reading Romenesko!

I’m still waiting to hear your analysis of Joe Kinear’s rant to the Daily Mirror

You should renegotiate your pay packet.

It’s confusing that she mentions news sites – staffed by ginuwine ‘journalists’ – in the same breath as bloggers with no special training or journalistic credibility.
This is what democracy looks like!!!!!
:):)LOL:)

I think Richard Steven Hack is a persona invented by Tina Brown.

bloggers will be just about the first to go in the coming super recession. Is the trust fund large enough to sustain you for two years? I envision Josh Marshall as the blogospheres Mr. Potter.

Your original reporting output per dollar (or euro) is WAY less than the BBC, dude. Not even funny.
BTW, reading David Brooks this morning, I was thinking that a lot of professional bloggers are just like the traders who
“live in a high-tech version of Plato’s cave. They do not see reality directly. Instead they see the shadow of reality as it dances around in numbers on their computer screens. They form perceptions about other people’s perceptions of where the smart money is going next, so they’re three or four psychological levels removed from normal economic activity.”

Even Hollywood writers read Matt, as “TheTurk” over at the Sarah Connor Society Web site, who writes for the “Terminator” series, revealed a while back – since he recognized the “wacky Transhumanist guy” from this blog.
