  1. Ed Says:

Richard Nixon came up with an “all time best” baseball team in 1974, which I think was also published in Sports Illustrated. He revised it about twenty years later.

  2. Jack Says:

That popping sound you hear is Simmons’ head exploding. He stopped writing for a month when they spiked his Obama podcast

  3. Rob Says:

No one anywhere has done less work for more money than Rick Reilly.

  4. Baseballhead Says:

Charmed by Obama, maybe. There’s no bigger tool than Rick Reilly.

  5. Mac G Says:

    The Ditka/Fridge blast was awesome.

  6. Leee Says:

Until he explains the extent of his relationship to the known washed up sports-journalism terrorist Rick Reilly, I’m withholding my vote for Obama.

  7. too many steves Says:

Leee is right. If Rick Reilly is for Obama, I’ll have to rethink my vote. I’d vote for George W. Bush for another term if it meant Reilly would disappear.

  8. huh? Says:

Wow, that’s a lot of hatin’ on Reilly. What did he ever do? I was surprised by that mainly because I thought there’d be more objection here in the comments to the equating of fantasy football fans with sports fans. I fail to see what one has to do with the other.

  9. too many steves Says:

Read Reilly’s columns for a couple of weeks and then tell me you don’t hate him. He’s the least-funny writer in the history of writers who have tried to be funny.

  10. Leee Says:

Reilly is also one of those execrable “Back in MY day, we had real MEN, not these pampered superstars” nostalgists, with all the unsexy baggage that that entails.

  11. Leee Says:

Which is to say, he’s really dumb, even for a sports writer.

  12. 55 Says:

It could be worse, he could be palling around with Skip Bayless.

  13. fantasy football week 12 Says:

Fantasy Football’s Week 12 is crunch time. ESPN leagues have two weeks left in the season—others have three weeks. The final push is here and hopefully you are still in the hunt for a playoff berth…
