CBS poll showing some bounce:

USA Today/Gallup shows the bounce too. Obviously, the GOP might turn things around when their convention really gets under way so polls taken at this particular point have unusually little predictive value. I would also continue to note that despite the impression one gets in the press of a race where “doubts” about Obama hold the key both candidates are rated favorably by a majority of the public meaning that both continue to have a lot to potentially gain from tearing the other down.

Since the initial poll didn’t include VPs, could some of that bounce be attributable to VP choices? I think that may have at least as much affect as the convention

I’d like to see if these polling companies could measure how much of it is Obama and his speech vs. the growing, inept horror that is the McCain campaign.
