Vets for Victory Plays the “Hussein” Card in Fundraising Letter

Freedom

Here’s a bit of a fundraising letter a right-wing groups called Vets for Victory sent out recently. Note the middle name and also the reference to the inaccurate National Journal rankings as somehow “official” rather than “calculated to generate media mentions of the magazine.”

I always love hearing people trot out the line about Obama being the most liberal member of the Senate. Haven’t these people heard of Bernie Sanders?

If the right wingers ever found out that there was an actual socialist in the Senate, their heads would explode. Perhaps it’s for the best that they remain ignorant.

  3. Quiddity Says:

That National Journal “ranking” sure has legs, doesn’t it?

    It’s a hack publication.

  4. hey norm Says:

how do you get to be OFFICIALLY the most liberal member of the senate? are there official stats for that or something? how about OFFICIALLY the biggest gold digger? or OFFICIALLY the most dottering old fool?

  5. Roddy McCorley Says:

Okay, so let’s talk about names…

John McCain shares a first name with one of the most notorious mass murderers of the 70s — of course, I could only be talkin’ about John Wayne Gacy.

And his last name prominently features the name of the first recorded murderer in all of human existence*: McCain.

Coincidence? I suppose maybe it could be. Maybe…

And PANAMANIAN-BORN John Sidney McCain’s middle name is an alternate spelling of the biggest city of a foreign Southern-Hemisphere country! The American public has a right to know: Where do his alliances lie?

  8. Steve "Hussein" Elliott (alapoet) Says:

Ignorance and desperation are an ugly mix, aren’t they?
